NEW PASTOR

NEW PASTOR Dave Tunikaitis, pictured here with his wife, Charlotte, is the new pastor of the Niagara Christian Assembly. Tunikaitis has come to Niagara-on-the-Lake to become the pastor of the Niagara Christian Assembly, which holds its services out of Niagara District Secondary School Sunday mornings. He replaces outgoing pastor Mike Gordon. "I feel like I'm a great fit here," Tunikaitis said. "I like the people here. I used to be just the fill in pastor but to accept the position permanently is exciting." Born and raised in St. Thomas, Ont., Tunikaitis was a pastor in Gravenhurst for a number of years before moving to Niagara recently so his wife, Charlotte, could attend Brock University. Niagara Christian Assembly is part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Services are Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
