FITNESS IS A SNAP SNAP Fitness cut the ribbon Saturday on a new business that will be a pefect fit for the Lincoln community. The 24-hour fitness club has opened in the Sobeys plaza at 4610 Ontario St. in Beamsville and offers a fast, convenient and affordable workout, state-of-the-art equipment and personal training services. The club is under 24-hour video surveillance. Members enter the club with an electronic keycard. A COMMUNITY COMES TO LIGHT The town of Smithville got a festive touchup courtesy of Jim Globe and Brandon Fuller (in bucket) Monday morning. The two were on hand at the corner of Regional Road 20 and Station Street to hang 300 feet of Christmas lights in the evergreen, known as the Tree of Healthy Wishes. LUCK OF THE DRAW Casino Niagara non-Gaming cashier Heather Agar reacts Friday afternoon after learning she had won a 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara thanks to her participation in the casino's payroll deduction campaign in support of the United Way. Every casino employee who made a payroll contribution of at least $1 per week earned a ballot in the draw.
