The open-minded had a chance to explore their subconscious, see their auras and chakras, have their palms read or find out what the future holds from Tarot cards.

Joelle Keys, a psychic at last weekend's Psychic Fair in St. Catharines, said everyone has some psychic abilities, something she called intuition.

"It's that little voice inside your head," Joelle said from her booth.

She said our subconscious minds also have a lot to do with predicting the future, because it records and calculates everything in our environments.

Dreams, she said, can sometime be warnings for what your future holds, or signs in our environment.

Ray Faucher, an aura camera technician, said we're not just physical beings, but spiritual ones, too.

He said everyone has the ability to see an aura, or at least sense someone's aura.

An aura, or energy field around your body can be picked up by special technology.

"When someone walks into a room and you can almost sense them, that's their aura," Faucher said.

When you place your fingers on a bio-sensor, the machine sends electromagnetic energy through your body.

A person's body naturally rejects the vibration, Faucher said, "and the speed of the vibration determines the colour."

His camera also picks up the temperature and dampness of your hand, and shows if you have any spirits with you.

T.J. Parnall, a Jordan resident, said he comes to the fair every year because he has some psychic abilities himself.

He said last year he had his aura photo taken and his grandmother, who had recently passed away, showed up in his aura.

"You could see her curly hair, her broad shoulders and her pearl necklace," Parnall said, "Everything but her face."

Parnall said he will send out e-mails to his friends with his physic predictions, and usually they come true.
