Another one done and one more to go.

Firemen's Park was full of concert lovers last Thursday night as Steve Burnside, with his square guitar and his unique style of music, filled the air and fans' spirits. At around 9 p.m., fans got up off their lawn chairs, headed to the front of Burnside's stage and danced as the performer sang and encouraged the crowd to "keep on dancing."

The concerts that have been held at the Firemen's Park, at Mountain and Dorchester roads in Niagara Falls, every Thursday night for the entire summer are sponsored by the Stamford Centre Volunteer Firemen's Association.

Tomorrow's concert, featuring Gatorbait, will be the last of the season. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

The concerts attract music fanatics from all across the region.

"It's good. We have been able to enjoy the summer concerts. But it has rained the past couple of Thursdays, so this one is really nice," said Niagara-on-the-Lake resident Frank Grimwood.

With music, food and drinks, the free concerts offer fun and a good time.

"I love it, love jazz. It's a very catchy type of music, the instrumentals and band, it all works together," said Dean Heezen, a St. Catharines resident, who added it's a great way to spend his Thursday night.
