Given those choices, she decided that it was time to open a shop and start meeting her customers face to face.

"It was the next logical step to take in order to service our customer base in the Niagara peninsula," said Benner.

Horsin' Around Discount Tack's online store has been operational since 2005. According to Benner, its products are offered at a significantly discounted price in comparison to other online retailers selling similar items. The store is located in Ridgeway at 3860 Dominon Rd.

The family run store has a similar inventory to its online component. There is horse and rider apparel, as well as grooming and horse health products.

According to the Fort Erie resident, the store has opened up her business to a new clientele.

"Our online customer base is North America wide," she explained.

"We've had a very good reception in the store from new customers."

With several large saddle clubs in the area and the Fort Erie Race track, Benner foresees an ongoing client base for her store.
