Women will have a chance to talk to the experts - other women - during a unique networking event to be held Wednesday, Nov. 12 in Smithville.

Organized by the West Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, the inaugural Women's 3-H event - Home, Health and Happiness will be a night to network with business women in the community.

Admission is free for the event to be held in the upstairs hall at the Smithville Arena from 7 to 10 p.m.

It's fun-filled evening with 20 vendors setting up booths and highlights to include a fashion show at 7:30 p.m. and business demonstrations.

"It's food for the soul and the palate," says Laura Fevez, owner of The Dresser Drawer.

Fevez said there will be an open mike session allowing vendors the chance to talk about their specialties and the audience, an opportunity to ask questions.

It will be a night of networking between woman consumers and women in business.

And the floor will be open for everything from financial planning, to health, fashion an home design.

"There are lot of newcomers to the area and the Women's 3-H event will give them a lot of exposure," Fevez said.
