After a successful year, which included an Under-40 Business Achievement award and being selected a finalist for the Grimsby and District Chamber of Commerce business awards, the business won first-place in the Grand Erie Business Centre's Youth Entrepreneurship Award program.

The award, which included a cash prize, was a complete surprise for 28-year-old proprietor Costa Nassar, who founded the clinic in November 2005.

"This award is a confirmation that what we have at the clinic is really special, and that we're doing the right things to keep people happy and the business moving forward in the right direction," said Mr. Nassar.

Over the past three years growth at the clinic has exceeded Mr. Nassar's expectations. He thanks his team for helping in the growth of the business and for achieving success.

"Regardless of what the award is called, or that my name is on the trophy, this was always a team effort from day one," said Mr. Nassar. "I could not have done anything or been as successful without the wonderful help of my team....Bashar, Debbie, and Sherry, who are my best friends and the most caring staff I've ever worked with."

In addition to the growth, accomplishments include the establishment of a marketing strategy to promote the business and the hiring of a full-time business manager to look after the day-to-day management, so Mr. Nassar can focus on quality and service to the clientele.

"We would not have received this wonderful honour had it not been for our forward-thinking team and commitment in ensuring that each patient receives what I consider to be top-notch, high quality, personal care. This is and will always be our biggest achievement and source of pride as a denture clinic," he said.

In addition to his dedication to the business, Mr. Nassar also contributes to the community through various fundraisers, supporting sports teams and more. The clinic is also interested in providing help in third world countries for denture services.
