  • Heritage Arts Fort Erie presents A Day at the Fort Erie Race Track. 11:30 am start. $25 admission includes Triple Crown buffet at the Prince of Wales banquet room beginning at noon, $10 of slot play, a race program and door prizes. The first race is at 1:05 pm. The fourth race is in memory of Tom Kays and the fifth race is a tribute to Heritage Arts Day at the Races.

  • Enjoy a rousing evening of vintage music in the great outdoors featuring the Cottonwood Brass ensemble, 7 pm at the Old Fort, $2 donation appreciated. Refreshments available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Sponsored by the Fort Erie Arts Council. For information call 905-894-8373.

  • Canadian Raptor Conservancy Outdoor Program, 10 am, Crystal Ridge; 1:15 pm, Centennial. The Canadian Raptor Conservancy is involved in many different projects relating to Birds of Prey, Wildlife and Habitat. They will bring their birds of prey for an outdoor program, weather permitting.

  • Mad Science's "Sounds Like Science," 10 am, Crystal Ridge; 1:15 pm, Centennial. Mad Science returns to the Fort Erie Public Library with a new show. Mad Science is suitable for children ages 5-12.
