The inaugural Daredevil Days festival on Queen Street brought plenty of life to the usually quiet area.
The event saw vendors from all over Ontario bring unique and different foods to the downtown core for everybody to enjoy.
"The vendors have been really friendly and there are a lot of different vendors. It's good for the family and kids and we've had a great day," said Donna Graham, who came from Fonthill and enjoyed the festivities.
Not only did the event see people from around the region, it also brought residents to the city core to enjoy all the fun.
"I love it. Historic Niagara has done a good job, Celebrate Old Downtown has done a great job. The event is going in a positive direction and growing into something very positive for downtown Niagara," said Larry Allen Caldwell.
Individuals who came to enjoy the event said they felt it's a positive idea for the city and the area, but it should occur a little bit more frequently.
"It's a great idea for downtown Niagara Falls, it should happen more to promote the area and businesses," said Erica Matyskiewicz, a visitor to the festival.
Not everybody that came out to the event thought it had everything.
"I think it needs more. They need more for the kids and better vendors. It needs to have more lively stuff happening, games to win, to get people's attention. But it really needs more stuff happening for the children, kids get bored quickly," said visitor Tony Caligiuri.
The busker festival which was part of Daredevil Days included live music, street jugglers, stilt-walkers and more at every street corner throughout the weekend.
