  • SMALLMOUTH BASS FISHING DERBY, hosted by the Outdoor Adventuremnt for Christ, followed by a bbq supper and awarding of prizes. Entry fee $30 per person (includes dinner), tickets must be purcahsed by midnight June 27. Weigh in at 4 p.m. More information call Stan 905-988-5017.

  • DROP-IN SESSIONS at Ontario Early Years Centre Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-12 and 1-4 and Friday from 9-12. These programs are for children ages birth to six years and their parent/caregiver.

     

  • INFANT MOVEMENT PROGRAM July 14, 21 and 28, pre-registration is required. This program is for infants, not yet moving independently, and their parent/caregiver. These afternoon sessions are offered from 1:30-3:30.

     

  • BABIES SING, GIGGLE AND WIGGLE on Monday, August 11 and18, pre-registration is required. This program is for infants, not yet moving independently, and their parent/caregiver. These afternoon sessions are offered from 1:30-3:30.

  • BOOK CLUB meets at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Wainfleet Township Public Library. This month's selection is The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith.   • ART AT THE LIBRARY with Whispering Pines Art Studio 10-11 a.m. July 8, 15, 22, 29 and Aug. 5, 12, 19. For ages 5-13. $4 per class, pre-register at the Port Colborne Library.

     

  • PEACE ART in the auditorium. Art, laughter, music, imagery and dance. July 9, 12, 30 and Aug. 6, 13 from 1-2:30 p.m. For ages 5-13. $5 per class. Pre-registration required.

A six-week program of stories, songs, activities and crafts for children ages 2 - 5 runs Thursdays from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. from March 6 to April 10.
