  • GROOVIN ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON at H.H. Knoll Park. The Port Colborne Folk Arts Council presents its third session of coffee house musicians 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In case of inclement weather the event will be moved to St. Patricks Church hall. There is only one more park event this summer Aug. 31.

  • ART AT THE LIBRARY with Whispering Pines Art Studio 10-11 a.m. July 8, 15, 22, 29 and Aug. 5, 12, 19. For ages 5-13. $4 per class, pre-register at the Port Colborne Library.

     

  • PEACE ART in the auditorium. Art, laughter, music, imagery and dance. July 9, 12, 30 and Aug. 6, 13 from 1-2:30 p.m. For ages 5-13. $5 per class. Pre-registration required.

     

  • CRAFTS, CRAFTS, CRAFTS at the library. Leather crafts July, 7, 21 and Aug. 18. Small Hands Studio craft July 14, 16. Crafts with Carol July 8. All programs run from 1-2:30 p.m. Cost is $5.

     

  • YOGA WITH NADIA Fridays 10-11 a.m. Family yoga July 4 and Aug. 1, $5. Kids yoga July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 8, $4.

  • SUMMER READING PROGRAM Launch Events: Centauri Summer Arts Camp Workshops at the Wainfleet Township Public Library. Registered SRP participants can come one day or both. Cost is $5 per workshop or included in $25 fee for SRP.

     

  • Monday, July 7 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. Choose between Workshop 1--For Ages 4-10 Laugh Out Loud: Creating Limericks and Lyrics! Discover how to create poetry and song lyrics that will have your audience rolling in the aisles! Or Workshop 2--For Ages 10-12 That's Improv! Discover new ways to be funny on stage in this comedy performance workshop!

     

  • Tuesday, July 8 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. Choose between Workshop 1--For Ages 4-9 Bring a Picture Book to LIFE! Using drama, bring one of your favourite stories to life on the stage! Or Workshop 2--For Ages 6-12 That's Soooooo Funny! Do you have a funny story to tell? Discover how to tell a tall tale in this drama and storytelling workshop, and make your audience laugh out loud.
