PAWS Niagara is having a fundraising BBQ/picnic from noon to 4 pm. The event will take place at 14820 Niagara Parkway. Adults-$15, children $5 and well behaved dogs on leashes free. NIAGARA HISTORICAL MUSEUM

The attention Canadian art has been given this year is echoed in the Niagara Historical Museum's new exhibition Inspired Landscapes. The exhibition includes 24 works, dated from 1830 to 1917. Each illustrates how Niagara has inspired artists and been revered for its beautiful scenes. Inspired Landscapes will be on display until Oct. 6. 43 Castlereagh Street. 905-468-3912.
