Rural Pelham residents were hit hard with thefts from vehicles early Monday morning.
Officers were called to several reports of vehicles being broken into around the Roland Road area, causing police to remind everyone to lock their vehicles and leave nothing of value inside. They are also reminded to keep the doors to their homes locked.
Police are asking area residents to be on the lookout for a small, black boxy-style vehicle with a roof rack, as well as a man described as white, 30-35 years of age with a thin build and a black beard. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and black jeans.
Anyone with information is asked by police to call 905-735-7811 extension 4330.
