Crash victim identified

Niagara Regional Police identified the man killed in a single-motor vehicle collision last Wednesday, Aug. 13. Nathaniel MacInnes of Wellandport, 22, was identified through the use of dental records during a post-mortem examination last Thursday.

MacInnes was killed when the vehicle he was driving rolled over in a ditch, say police. He was thrown from the vehicle, which later landed on him before becoming engulfed in flames. The accident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. on the highway, in between Concession Four Road and Bismarck. MacInnes was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
