I wish to comment on recent letters to the editor regarding Canada's faltering "health care system ("Poor left out of justice, health care decisions," by Angela L Browne, and "Exporting patients better idea," by George Jardine).

Both writers hit the nail squarely on the head. Bravo! I wrote a letter approximately six months ago, stating, Canada would be nothing better than a Third World country in a couple of years (2010), with respect to our failing health-care system.

I must apologize, because I was off regarding my timeframe. This is a news flash: Canada is, officially, effectively a Third World country now.
