  • The Niagara District Art Association is having an art exhibition of painting juried by Marla Panko professional artist and art teacher from Dundas, ON. The show will be open every Sunday in October at the Studio Gallery 5070 Victoria Ave, Niagara Falls. Open Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Handicapped accessible and admission is free.

  • The May Court Club and the Rotary Club of St. Catharines South will be hosting "Take It To Heart", a Gala event in support of The Regional Cardiac Catheterization Lab at the new Hospital being built in St. Catharines. "Take It To Heart" will be held on November 15, 2008, at the Hilton Hotel, Niagara Falls, Ontario, starting at 6:00 pm. The dinner consists of seven exquisite courses, each accompanied by a wine paired appropriately. This is a "Black Tie Event" and tickets are $150.00 per person.   • Supervised Visitation and Exchange Niagara is seeking volunteers age 18 and up to commit up to four hours weekly or bi-weekly observing and documenting visitations for high conflict families dealing with divorce and separation. Volunteers must possess good observation, communication and written skills. They should be caring, dependable, mature and a child focused individual.
