Triathlon returns to Grimsby July 20

The Subaru Triathlon Series comes to Grimsby Sunday, July 20.

Athletes will be taking to the streets and Lake Ontario, as they ride, run and swim in the Niagara Triathlon and Duathlon, a 2009 World Championship Spring Distance Triathlon Qualifier. The event is put on by Trisport Canada.

This year's event will be one day only, with the triathlon, tri relay, duathlon, try-a-tri, try-a-tri relay and one-kilometre kids fun run all on Sunday, July 20. The event is based out of Nelles Beach Park, on Lake Street in Grimsby.

Race fees range from $43 and up, depending on what event you wish to participate in. The 1K kids run is free and no pre-registration is required.
