The St. Catharines Jets Under-13 A girls soccer completed a very successful season playing in the Premier Division of the South Region Soccer League.
The Jets won the League Cup, defeating Burlington B on penalty kicks to settle a 0-0 deadlock after overtime. On their way to the League Cup finals, the Jets defeated Dixie 6-0, Oakville 2-1, Dundas 4-0 and Niagara Falls 5-1.
The Jets also appeared in the semifinals of the Ontario Cup by winning their tournament round with a record of 3-1, then defeating Burlington A 2-1 in the quarter-finals. The Jets Ontario Cup run ended in the semifinals losing 4-0 to number one ranked Ajax Strikers. The Jets also finished second place in league play with a record of 12-1-5.
Next season, the Jets will play in the elite division of the SRSL.
